Añejo Smash with Gran Centenario Tequila

This añejo smash is the perfect way to graduate from the overdone margarita. There are a number of great tequila drinks out there, and this one will satisfy both the cocktail enthusiast and those who just want a refreshing summer drink.


Añejo Smash
Recipe Type: cocktail
Serves: 1
  • 1½ ounce añejo tequila
  • ¾ ounce agave nectar
  • ½ ounce Grand Marnier
  • 7 mint leaves (some reserved for garnish)
  • 4 blueberries
  • 4 lemon wedges
  • 2 strawberries
  1. Combine mint leaves, blueberries, lemon wedges, and strawberries in shaker and muddle.
  2. Add tequila, Grand Marnier, and agave nectar then shake with ice.
  3. Double strain into rocks glass filled with crushed ice and garnish with mint sprig.

    The cocktails that you feature are so consistently good it amazes me! Many of my go to recipes came from your blog; the mint julep (I’ve never had one nearly as good – such a shame they should be more popular), the Gin Basil Smash, the Greener Point, and now the Anejo Smash just to name a few offf the top of my head. Thanks for doing the hard work for us!
