Pour 2 ounces of gin (London Dry is the standard style) into a rocks glass filled with ice.
Top with 4-6 ounces of chilled tonic water.
Garnish with a lime wedge.
Notes
Storing your gin in the freezer to give it some extra chill will help the tonic water retain its carbonation. A well-made G&T should be cold and very effervescent. I highly suggest choosing a premium tonic water. It really makes all the difference.
